Marcus for Progress and the boys of Greater Marcus Area Troop 113 are teaming up for a Pancake Breakfast out at the fairgrounds on Sunday, Sept 19 from 8:30-1:00. The entire weekend will be filled with a major Area Geocashing event. Watch for more details in the coming days!

September/October 2008 discussion

Last month while visiting, Maxine Reed picked up a copy of a promotional magazine titled "Explore Cherokee County". The magazine is published by the Chamber of Commerce and produced by the Cherokee Chronicle Times.

Marcus photos are featured on page 27, including a blog promotion photo, and a picture of Bob Reed and grandkids during a 2006 visit. (click on the image for a closer look).

BTW, the photographs were used by the Chronicle Times without attribution and without permission.
