Last month while visiting, Maxine Reed picked up a copy of a promotional magazine titled "Explore Cherokee County". The magazine is published by the Chamber of Commerce and produced by the Cherokee Chronicle Times.

Marcus photos are featured on page 27, including a blog promotion photo, and a picture of Bob Reed and grandkids during a 2006 visit. (click on the image for a closer look).

BTW, the photographs were used by the Chronicle Times without attribution and without permission.

Did you know, we're now NOT linked from the official wikipedia entry for Marcus, IA. I added it, but someone took it out. I'm challenging the edit in wiki discussion.

Some regular contributors have reported trouble logging in and their passwords not working. This may be because blogspot.com was recently purchased by google.com, and now google accounts are required to login and establish your identity with the blog.

If you don't have a google account, you can create one by following the links at the blogspot sign in page starting with claim your old Blogger Account
